CORONAVIRUS  (COVID-19) UPDATE: 12/03/20

If you have a pre-booked appointment at the surgery over the next few days, please contact us BY TELEPHONE in advance of this for advice if you develop any of the following symptoms - cough, cold, fever, shortness of breath - OR if you have recently returned from an area affected by coronavirus OR if you have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for Coronavirus.

 

If you may have been exposed to coronavirus DO NOT ATTEND your GP or hospital emergency department, please visit https://111.nhs.uk/covid-19 for further advice, or call NHS 111.

Online booking of fact to face appointments has been suspended for the foreseeable future to ensure that patients are triaged to the right service and no-one is put at risk of Coronavirus.

 

Prestwich Walk In Centre

Prestwich Walk In Centre

Is staffed by specially trained nurses who can deal with:

  • minor illness and injuries,

  • prescribe medication if appropriate,

  • give advice,

  • provide emergency contraception

  • etc

PLEASE NOTE UPDATED OPENING/CLOSING TIMES FOR PRESTWICH & BURY WALK-IN-CENTRES.

  • Bury WIC: 1st Floor Moorgate Primary Care Centre, 22 Derby Way, Bury BL9 0NJ Will be operational from 7am - 3pm seven days a week (*)

 

  • Prestwich WIC: Fairfax Rd, Prestwich M25 1BT Will be operational from 12 noon - 8pm  seven days a week (*)

 

(*)  The last appointment is 30 minutes prior to closing to enable patients to be appropriately and effectively assessed.
