Online booking of fact to face appointments has been suspended for the foreseeable future to ensure that patients are triaged to the right service and no-one is put at risk of Coronavirus.


Self Care Aware

From the 1st September 2015 NHS Bury CCG launch the Be Self Aware Campaign which means that Bury GPs will no longer routinely prescribe items to treat minor ailments and patients will be encouraged to treat minor illnesses and injuries at home with over the counter items where appropriate. This means that treatments for minor ailments such as diarrhoea, cold sores, dry skin and dandruff, plus remedies for coughs and colds will not routinely be avaialbe on a Bury GP prescription.
